Registration Screen Overview

The Registration area of the Full Menu contains features that are typically used by front desk personnel.

Several of these commands, as well as some from other areas of the Full menu, are also available in the Action Bar located across the top of the main area of the Skyware screen.

The Registration area includes the following features:

Check-In: Click here for checking in a Guest with a Reservation. This opens a Quick Check In screen with details from the Reservation already entered.

Walk-In: Click here to register a Walk-In Guest. This opens a blank Quick Check In screen with today's date grayed out.

Advanced Walk-In: Click here to reach the Walk-In Wizard. The Advanced Walk-In process uses a Wizard to walk you through all of the steps necessary to check a guest in.

Note: The Advanced Walk-In Wizard and the Advanced Check-In (Check-In Wizard), which can be reached from the Quick Check-In screen at any point if you require any guidance through the Check-In process, are virtually identical except for the landing point in the Wizard.

Modify Folio: Click here to display a list of Guest Folios, select one and make any changes required. The Modify Folio command allows you to modify the stay record for a guest. Search for and select the stay record of the guest that you wish to change. The system opens the selected stay record and allows you to modify it as needed.

Room Change: Click here to make a Room Change. The Room Change feature allows you to change a stay from one room to another.

Room Allocation : Click here to open the Room Allocation area. This area allows you to automatically send one guest's charges to another guest.

Arrivals Report: Click here to view the Arrivals Report. The Arrivals Report allows you to enter search criteria and view the guests that are due to arrive on a specified date or during the identified time period.
